Our Sports Hall offers training and tournament use for Sports and events or business space for entertainment and large conferences.

The facility also includes changing rooms, lockers and shower facilities.

The versatile space, with pull out seating, can also be exclusively hired out for conferences and team building events or as a concert and exhibition venue.

Our Sports Hall can accommodate various different sports including Badminton, Pickleball, Volleyball, Netball, Basketball, Football, and is also suitable for a variety of classes.

Yes, showers and changing rooms are available for visitors using the sports hall.

Lockers are available…

We ask that food is kept to a minimum during sports use, and drinks are of course allowed. Please inform one of our team members immediately should there be a spillage.

Sports Hall Information

As a general rule, the sports hall can accommodate the following number of people depending on the type of event.

 

  • Sporting activity, players on court and spectators – 140
  • Closely seated, theatre style audience concert or public meeting – 650
  • Dance, disco, mixture of seating and standing, refreshment servery – 450
  • Event all seated around tables and chairs – 500
  • Car boot sale with stalls set out – 350
  • Art exhibition, depending on space taken by exhibits – 400-500

Equipment and nets are available for badminton and pickleball, and posts/nets are available for basketball, netball, volleyball and football.

Peak Times (after 5pm weekdays, and all day at weekends)

  • Single Court – £20 per hour
  • Half Hall – £39.95 per hour
  • Full Hall – £57 per hour

 

Off Peak

  • Single Court – £14.25
  • Half Hall – £19.95

 

Bookings are in hourly slots, starting and finishing on the hour, and can be made instantly via our Online Booking Platform.

 

There is no additional VAT charged on sporting/fitness/exercise activities but there are no concessions.

Yes, the hall is wheelchair accessible with a lift to the floor where the changing rooms are situated. Accessible showers are also available in the changing rooms.

Sports Hall Information

Catering services can be provided by our in-house cafe tenant.

 

For alternative caterers, please discuss your requirements with our event planning team.

There are 74 free parking spaces on site between 8am-6pm weekdays, with spaces provided on a two hour disc system.

 

There are five disabled and six electric vehicle charging spaces.

 

A further 44 spaces are available between 6pm-8am at Palatine GP’s Surgery, but we ask that visitors do not park at the surgery during their normal operating hours.
